Pero la noticia del día, es que de los dos conciertos previstos en China, hay algo un tanto insólito: ya el último disco, 40licks salió allí con 4 canciones menos, y el repertorio debe ajustarse a las restantes canciones incluidas en el disco. The band, which is scheduled to perform in Shanghai April 1 and in Beijing April 4, will not be allowed to play "Brown Sugar," "Honky Tonk Woman," "Beast of Burden," or "Let's Spend the Night Together," said Chen Jixin head of Beijing Time New Century Entertainment, a concert organizer behind the two China dates.
The four songs, all of which include sexual references, were originally cut from the mainland release of the band's "40 Licks" compilation album by China's culture ministry, Chen said. "Brown Sugar" refers to an interracial coupling.
Ya en los 70 intentaron actuar en China y no se les permitió.
La verdad es que este tipo de cosas me recuerdan a discos que en nuestro pais salían mutilados ya hace tiempo, como ocurrió con el Sticky Fingers aquí, donde por censurar, hasta la portada de la bragueta se eliminó.
